Meet Founder, Dr. Laura Vinopal

Laura Vinopal, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology

I’ve helped over 20,000 people since 2007 and I make sure I do it with a smile on my face each and every time! Some ask me why it’s so easy for me, and I have to quote Franklin P. Jones, “Love is what makes the ride worthwhile. ”Each day I have the opportunity, the blessing, and the responsibility to restore another human being’s ability to hear in background noise, reduce their Tinnitus, and ultimately reduce their risk of cognitive decline and Dementia. I don’t consider this a job, but rather a passion, and one that I am grateful for each and every day. This emotional and personal journey of hearing loss and treatment should not be associated with discount hearing aid shops and sales environments so often found in the audiology profession. For me, there is no greater calling than to help another.

I grew up in the rural city of Mauston, WI where my parents operated a local tool and die shop and that is where I first learned my good work ethic. My parents were small business owners, and they lead by example that owning a business would require a lot of grit. After high school in Mauston, I started my undergraduate Bachelor of Science at UWSP and then achieved my doctoral degree from a joint AuD program from UW Stevens Point & UW Madison in 2007. After college, I returned to my roots in rural Wisconsin with my husband Frank. My husband Frank and I started a family together and have three beautiful children Sena, Jack, and Mary. Frank and I feel fortunate to have deep roots in our wonderful rural Wisconsin community which we call home.
