Alli Anderson - Audiologist

I grew up in a small town in Minnesota, and I completed my undergraduate degree in 2018 at UW in River Falls. I moved from rural Minnesota to the big town of Madison in the Fall of 2018, and quickly became a Wisconsin Badger! I graduated from the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Wisconsin in 2022. I am fortunate to join the team at Professional Hearing Care following my residency with Dr. Laura Vinopal.

Developing relationships with my patients and helping them reconnect with their loved ones through better hearing brings me joy. Audiology is interesting as technology is constantly evolving, how the brain is connected to hearing, and no two patients are alike. What I love most about private practice is being able to customize a patient’s treatment and the amount of time I can spend with them.

My main reason for becoming an audiologist was to improve my patient’s and family’s quality of life. Growing up my grandfather developed hearing loss over time due to his occupation. It became very difficult for him to converse in crowded environments including family gatherings. Once I was able to get him into treatment, he started to join family gatherings again which improved our family’s quality of life as well as his. I am truly passionate about my work, and I hope to continue to improve individuals’ lives.

Michael Parrish - Audiologist

I am thrilled to join the Professional Hearing Care provider team! I earned my doctorate in audiology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2020, after completing rotations at the Madison Veterans Hospital, Dean Clinic, Mayo Clinic, and Family Hearing Care, which is a private practice in my hometown of Traverse City, Michigan. I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in communication sciences and disorders from Central Michigan University in 2015.

As an audiologist, my primary goal for the treatment of hearing loss is to bring my patients back into the present moment in their lives and reconnect to the world around them. The technology available for treating hearing loss is life-changing and taking the journey toward better hearing and a better quality of life with my patients is a truly rewarding experience

I currently live in Madison with my wife and our three cats. We enjoy gardening and going for long hikes in the beautiful vistas of Wisconsin. In my spare time I love reading, traveling, and I have also been a drummer for 25 years! I am excited to utilize my knowledge and experience in the field of audiology at a thriving and visionary practice with the team at Professional Hearing Care!
